Current Activities

 

I am part of the Khresmoi project. Khresmoi aims to create a multi-lingual multi-modal search and access system for biomedical information and documents, tailored to the needs of three groups: Members of the general public, clinicians and general practitioners, and radiologists. Representative groups of end users are available and will be addressed in two use cases.
 
My roles in the project are:
  • Leader of the workpackage "Use Case Tests"
  • Development of categorisation algorithms for trustability and readability of web sites
  • Development of the search engine for medical information
  • Development of an empirical evaluation strategy and analysis of the evaluation results

Advisors: Prof. Gerti Kappel (Vienna University of Technology) and Prof. Juan-Carlos Trujillo Mondejár (University of Alicante), thesis title: Conceptual Models and Model-Based Business Metadata to Bridge the Gap between Data Warehouses and Organizations

In my thesis I applied modeling techology to the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence domain. I developed a conceptual modeling language that relates the structure, behavior and goals of enterprise organizations to data warehouse features. I created a novel approach to Business Metadata and designed and implemented a prototype.
