The Reference Implementation

The implementation of the IRF eScience environment with technology partners:

• Desktop modelling of multiple complex IR algorithms

• Experimentation platform for huge corpora with these algorithms.

• Transparent and efficient mapping of the algorithms on a HPC infrastructure

• Seamless and transparent integration of configurable computing hardware accelerators into the HPC host

• A large scale database system that permits the storage and the management of all resulting metadata
