Developing IR and Filtering applications using FPGAs and MITRION-C

Project

The project goal is to develop an information retrieval prototype using FPGAs and Mitrion-C in
order to speed up the filtering task such that it can be carried out in (near) real time. The
prototype will demonstrate a potential application to patent searchers for interactive online
filtering of a collection based on the current information needs of the patent searcher.
