CLEF IP Track in 2009

The IRF and Matrixware have obtained the approval of the CLEF ( www.clef-campaign.org/ ) Steering Committee to run a Intellectual Property retrieval track from 2009. In the first year the focus will be retrieval of Patents in English, French and German with extensions to more complex forms of Intellectual Property search in future years. Almost 20 groups have already expressed an interest in taking part.
