Evening Programme

The evening programme will give you the opportunity to sample some traditional Austrian food and wine as well as to enjoy what Vienna is probably best known for in the world: classical music.

On Friday, 24 November, you will be invited to a formal dinner in an exquisite restaurant, which serves a mix of traditional Austrian and international food as well as local wine: the KristianĀ“s Monastiri . Located in a former monastery, the restaurant offers a truly extraordinary ambience, where you can relax and enjoy the award-winning cuisine and a remarkable wine collection.

On Saturday, 25 November, you will enjoy a classical concert in one of the oldest concert halls in Vienna, the Sala Terrena, where Mozart used to work and play for Bishop Coloredo in 1781. The Sala Terrena with its beautiful vault, was designed and painted in the second half of the eighteenth century in late Renaissance Venetian style, and is still used for musical performances today. On this evening, the chamber orchestra ‘Mozart Ensemble - Wien’ will play works of Haydn, Schubert and, of course, Mozart.
