Exhibition

The IRFS Exhibition 2010 is the place to discover and test new applications in the field of professional information retrieval and knowledge management, some of them at the development stage, others on the verge of being launched:

Exhibition

  • Research groups will showcase their latest project results and present related prototypes.  The IRFS Exhibition will allow them to gather feedback from end-users enabling them to align their work with market needs, and to connect with potential commercial partners for their technologies.

  • Innovation-driven providers of proprietary and open source solutions will present technologies currently in development or about to be launched, which offer new approaches to well-known challenges information professionals are faced with. The IRFS Exhibition gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their position of innovation leaders in the market and contribute to transparency towards the end-users.

The uniqueness of the IRFS Exhibition lies in the novelty of the solutions and services presented, which will be exposed to a wide audience for the first time.

In addition to exhibitors’ demonstrations, the IRFS Exhibition will include a prototype evaluation class, where patent experts can evaluate prototypes dealing with cross-lingual retrieval and chemical information retrieval from participants of the TREC-CHEM and CLEF-IP track. Dedicated time slots are allocated for visitors to attend the demonstrations and interact with exhibitors.

If you are interested in participating to the exhibition, please send an email to mp.garnier@ir-facility.org to receive more detailed information.
